Title: Inside the Bottle of Darkness – A Poem by Manuvilsan
Not all darkness is absence.
Sometimes, it is the space where we breathe more fully, where shadows reveal truth more gently than light ever could.
This poem, Inside the Bottle of Darkness, emerged from such a moment — when silence echoed louder than words. It explores the quiet liberation found within isolation, and the paradox of freedom through shadow.

lnside the Bottle of Darkness
by Manuvilsan
A shard from a broken mirror —
pressed against my face,
as if forgotten by you,
but placed with intent.
You stood against the direction of light:
my face turned dark.
In the curve traced by your touch,
a shadow formed,
and you set me free within that blackness.
Inside the bottle of darkness,
a breath unmeasurable —
it was mine, but you had gifted me
the opening to it.
